Joining the Freemasons in Redhill, Surrey
Joining the Freemasons in Nutfield and Redhill.
Freemasonry is open to all men of good character aged over 21 years. Freemasonry is not a religious order, nor are topics of religion discussed at meetings. However, you should have a belief in a Supreme Being to qualify for membership.
Regardless of your background, social standing or occupation all Masons meet ‘on the level’. You will receive a very warm welcome at Lingfield Lodge.
Time and Commitment.
No doubt you have a busy lifestyle and work commitments? There are four meetings per year and we ask you to attend as many as possible. The Lodge of Instruction is open to all members. Again, we ask you to attend as much as you can. This is where you will learn more about Freemasonry and the ceremonial degrees each Mason attains.
Stages of joining our Masonic lodge.
The first step, after viewing the information on this site is to give us a call or email us to arrange a time for chat. This can be at your home, a local public house or at the Masonic centre in Nutfield Rd, Redhill.
It is important for us to get to know you, and for you to get to know us.
After a short time we will invite you to complete your application to join the lodge along with a brief interview with the lodge committee members. Nothing to worry about – it’s a formality we go through so that you understand what is required to become a Freemason in Surrey.
And finally your big day!! The Lodge Membership Officer or Secretary will keep you informed of your joining date and what is expected of you.
Your membership into Freemasonry is very special. A day you will always remember fondly.
Good luck with your application!
